The mobile phones talk to their owners like genies in Aladdin's lamp commanding servant apps to do as the master owner pleases. Weird.A telephone directory with hundreds of thousands of names has been replaced with multiple unknown faces -except the handlful you call your friends/ family/ local or celebrities is now called FB or Instagram. There are numerous similar spin off versions of the same thing to try and connrct to others for assistance and company .There was a time that telephone directories consisted of only telephone numbers, addresses codes and a few smiling people next to houses, cars and machinery or an old person with kids at their feet.There's so much advancement in today's world it makes one feel prehistoric 30 years ago, just like reinventing the wheel.The infamous faceless manequins in shop windows have been made redundant by mail order shopping. There are many types of humour in comedy such as sarcasm, the storybook style with a funny twist at the end or throughout the joke. Another way is to add rhymes or extremely ridiculous endings with unbelievable strange and fantastical scenarios. Here the farcical clowns run amock around audiences and on the stage or circuses tents . They treat their inanimate objects like people and childishly play with props which are made from sponge and rubber. Some comedians prefer to perform magic tricks dressed up in silly colourful inappropriate outfits to be ruined by slop and flour. The clowning around is called slap- stick humour when all are energetically throwing pies and falling over each other to get all the attention. The bish -bash -bosh sessions are naturally performed by comedy actors who copy the trantrums and funny antics of kids or multipl personalities around them .
